As the world of education is dominated by several generations and the common system of values bridging the generation gap ceased to exist, the generational differences affecting our educational practices are in the focus of the paper. Since our lives are interspersed by educational events, the educational implications of "coeducation" are of importance. A survey of students of Generation X and Generation Y of teacher training and teacher further training courses and an interview carried out with their teachers suggest that the coeducation of different generations implies advantages and disadvantages as well but need new approaches to teaching, the integration of different activities, assignments for the different generations. There are still opportunities to be exploited in order to make this practice rewarding for all concerned.
