摘要

In recent years, different control systems have beenincorporated to the automotive industry. The maingoal is improving the safety and handling of the vehi-cles. This is the case of the active suspension systemwhich we have researched. One of the multiple prob-lems, that the active suspension presents is the absenceof adequate sensors for these controllers. The presentwork describes an alternative way to measure the Pitchand Roll angles of the vehicle via Soft Sensors. Thesensors are embedded in a FPGA and tested throughhardware-in-the-loop simulation. The measurementsof the Soft Sensors were quite close to the values ob-tained by the mathematical model. In the results arepresented the design and analysis of the hardware re-quirements and the sample time of the Soft Sensor.
