A dose-response study using rhPDGF-BB for bone regeneration in mice

摘要

This study has demonstrated for the first time that low doses of rhPDGF-BB (0.5 ng) delivered by a Col-HA scaffold enhance bone regeneration of a mouse critical-sized calvarial defect, particularly at the defect edges. The highest doses tested had no effect or a negative effect on bone regeneration.
