This paper studies the properties of magnesia-calcia tundish dry vibratable materials using solid phenolic resin (PF-4012,PF-4013,PF-4090,PF-4125) as low temperature binder.It was found that free phenol in phenolic resin is conductive to enhancing the middle-temperature strength of dry vibratable materials,and finer particle size also helps to enhance the high-temperature burned strength of dry vibratable materials.Through a comprehensive correlation of the samples,the ones with 2% PF-4012 phenolic resin has better combination property than others.
