Reuse of Used Refractories in a Tundish

摘要

Reuse of used refractories is an important way to save refractory material resources.Used MgO-C brick and used high alumina bricks etc.were used as raw materials to prepare refractories for a tundish.Recycled MgO-Al2O3-C dry vibration materials were used as working lining,recycled high alumina castable were used as permanent lining.The content of Used materials is about 80 to 90％ in recycled refractories.The recycled MgO-Al2O3-C dry vibration materials can meet the requirement for a tundish.According to the different thickness of dry vibration material,the life of working lining of a tundish can reach 14 to 20 hours.
