摘要

New MgO-C castable was developed using reclaimed MgO-C brick as carbon source.The flowability of castable and their properties such as cold module of rupture,oxidation resistance and slag corrosion resistance were investigated; the phase compositions were analyzed and microstructure was observed by SEM.The results showed that the water addition increases and the flowability of castable gets worse with increasing of reclaimed MgO-C aggregates.The effect of the addition of reclaimed MgO-C aggregates on conventional physical properties is not evident; the addition of reclaimed MgO-C aggregates also can improve the slag penetration and erosion resistance of the castable.
