To explore the impaction of biochar on continuous cropping obstacles of cucumber,the paper monitored the soil enzyme activities and cucumber plant properties.There were three treatments of biochar applied to pot mediu,5% biochar rate (w/w%) (s9.5),3% biochar rate (s9.3) and 0% biochar rate (s9.c).Biochar application not only affected the physical properties of pot medium such as PH and EC,but also changed the activity of soil enzyme and cucumber plant properties.Biochar application increased soil PH,whole plant yield,leaf POD activity,soil peroxidase activity and urease activity significantly,but decreased gummy stem blight incidence and phosphatase activity.And it has no definite effect on leaf SOD,soil EC and invertase activity.
