Recent increased of interest in the development of high-performance buildings is strongly related to the world-wide efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy costs. One of the principal goals is to develop the integration of solar devices (photovoltaic components and thermal collectors) in the building envelope. However, available buildings envelop surfaces with suitable orientation are not so important at a building scale for energy supply. They have to be valorized and optimized. This is for this reason why this work is dedicated to the optimization of multi-energy and multi-functional components: PV-Thermal collectors.
