Recycling and Reusing of Valuable Metals in Blast Furnace Slag

From the perspective of the components of blast furnace slag, the research progress of recycling and reusing of valuable metals in blast furnace slag was reviewed. It suggests that, the small scale of production, the immaturity technology and the heavy secondary pollution are the main drawbacks of the development of the recycling and reusing of valuable metals in blast furnace slag. For improving efficiency of resource reusing, energy saving, consumption dropping and pollution reducing, the necessity of building centralized process of the recycling and reusing of valuable metals in blast furnace slag and the feasibility of exploiting the high accessional valuable products were prospected.
