Through DLi Labs, PTI and QualMark, Dave has conducted and/or supervised scores of product tests and also consulted with numerous companies. He is viewed as an environmental test expert and has established close working relationships with numerous companies including Dell, HP, GM, Siemens, Schlumberger, Chevron and Logitech. He has provided testing and consulting services, and conducted training as well. This training includes both on-site corporate and Web based, on such topics as; reliability disciplines, analysis, environmental testing, accelerated life tests including HALT and HASS. He has performed or supervised over 1000 HALT and HASS processes on a wide variety of products, from medical to aerospace to oil drilling equipment. He has authored and coauthored several published papers and presented them at conferences like RAMS (Reliability and Maintainability Symposium), IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries), and IEEE ASTR (Accelerated Stress Test and Reliability). He has also authored a HALT document that is widely used and globally accepted as the guiding document for performing HALT.
