A perceptive typology made up of six perceptive categories of permanent and steady industrial noise sources was constructed in a previous study. In a second study, each perceptive category was characterized by noise annoyance indicators. A further step was to assess total noise annoyance, when combining sources from different perceptive categories. The present paper focuses on the combination of two types of sources from two perceptive categories, one containing noises with low frequency content and the second containing noises with a 100Hz-component. Both noises of the two perceptive categories are low frequency noises and have a significant specific loudness in Barks 2 to 3. Their combination involves masking effects. Different classic acoustic models of total annoyance response to combined noise sources are compared. The classic model of energy summation, often considered as the less relevant in terms of total annoyance prediction, cannot be rejected. Another simple acoustic model proposed leads to a better prediction of total annoyance due to the combined noises studied.
