摘要

Evolution and stability analysis of dam is an important aspect of dam studying. As a kind of complex geological body, dam is characteristic of openness, complication, nonlinearity and non-continuity. The paper utilizes Maximum Flux Principle (MFP) that based on the thinking of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics as the principle of the evolution of system. A novel framework on evolutionary dynamics of dam is then established. Meanwhile, based on the realistic typical data of homogeneous earth dam, the paper reveals the dynamic process and stability of earth dam systems by numerical simulations. Comparison between stability basing on the paper's method and stability based on Swedish slope circular method shows good agreements, and the relevant conclusions were accordingly drawn. The study on the evolution and stability of the dam not only has provided brand-new ideas from perspective of complex systems, but also has certain significance for optimizing control technique of dam systems.
