Systemic Evaluation of Envelop Thermal Performance of Residential Buildings

摘要

With the sharp rise of worldwide energy cost,the reduction of energy consumption in buildings is a significant issue that challenges us today,thus the evaluation of building thermal performance and popularization of new technology become the key of energy conservations.The evaluation of envelop thermal performance (EETP) is employed whose parameters are calculated from the eQUEST software to compare the relative energy efficiency of different building envelop designs;the formula between yearly air conditioner (AC) energy consumption of unit volume and EETP has been built.Lots of illustrations indicate that EETP index algorithm is much simpler than the eQUEST on comparing the relative energy efficiency of different building envelop designs and building heat-insulating property can be denoted more clearly in the same region.What's more,this index provides the basis for further economic analysis of building envelop,which is of great significance to carry out sustainable residential building design with high comfort and low energy consumption.
