Campus buildings often consume more energy than other buildings in China,especially in operation process.Water source heat pump system as an application form of renewable energy in buildings is advocated in China.In this paper the operational principle of coupled water source heat pump is introduced,and the energy saving analysis of coupled water source heat pump from the view of design and operation is presented by field test.The operation data of heat pump system and unit was measured and collected separately in summer and winter.Then the technical performance index of heat pump unit,such as power consumption and EER,is analyzed with the variation of the temperature of well water and circulating water both in theory and from the experimental results.In addition,different control strategies matching with different running conditions in winter and summer are suggested according to the system performance analysis.
