This paper is describing the implementation of an energy management program in the Scott County School District located in Georgetown, Kentucky and also the Woodford County School District located in Versailles, Kentucky and the results obtained. The focus is on the unique ability that K-12 schools have with their student body that if you can get the students engaged in the program, you can achieve outstanding results. The process used and the results obtained in both school districts will be presented with a special focus on student engagement and the impacts of doing this.
