Application of Projection Pursuit Model in Integrated Evaluation on Venture Investment in Real Estate

It is a complex problem of multiattribute and multifactor to evaluate venture investment in real estate (VIRE).There are the problems of single index,the influence from the subjective factors and the data by many hypothetical limitations.Considering the evaluation indices and the characteristics of data,this paper applies the projection pursuit model (PPM) to evaluate VIRE.Accordingly,the paper converts multidimensional indices data to projection value of single dimension by PPM which can find optimal projection direction using accelerating genetic algorithm (AGA).Applying the projection pursuit method,the paper establishes the model from the data,projects the multiindex linear,and provides a decision referring of comprehending the index information.Furthermore,PPM has the advantage of simplicity and objectiveness of the evaluation result.
