A SIMPLE METHOD OF PITCH ERROR COMPENSATION ON CNCMACHINE TOOLS

摘要

A simple pitch error of lead screw compensation based on the new made step gauge has been presented inthis paper. This method has the advantages of easy operation, less time cost and also high accuracy. Throughexperimental tests, it was found that the position accuracy of an axis was highly increased; this method is expected tofind wide applications in machine calibration, machine manufacture and error compensation.
