Analysis of the Developing Status and Prospect of China’sHerbivorous Stock Raising Industry

Stock Raising is an important part of China’s national economy. Development of stockraising industry will be a major direction of China’s national economic development, enhancementof food security and promotion of peasants’ income growth and sustainable development ofagriculture. The paper gives a comment on the developing status of China’s herbivorous stockraising industry and analyzes the space for growth and the developing potential of China’sherbivorous stock raising industry through comparison of the development of China’s herbivorousstock raising since the reform and opening up and that of the herbivorous stock raising developedcountries, and the expatiation on the status of herbivorous stock raising industry in the worldeconomy.
