System of Experts to Perform an Epistemological Task of Shape Understanding

摘要

The aim of this research is to build the system of shape understanding that is able to understand the different concepts of shape on the different levels of cognition. The system consists of the two main modules central and peripheral that carry out the understanding process. The central reasoning modules create the concept of shape based on the data acquired in the processing stage and reasoning process. The module consists of different types of experts that perform different processing and reasoning tasks. The experts of the peripheral module are built from COM/DCOM components and carry out learning of the new concepts of shape, generating the exemplars and controlling the reasoning processes.
