Along with the development of science and technology, all kinds of courses are permeated into and work in coordination with each other. By the synthetical character of new knowledge structure, the reformation of teaching should conform to the goal of training talented persons for 21 century, break down the demarcation line of courses and the reformation model of self closing and self finishing. And Engineering Drawing belongs to the serial courses of mechanical design which should be planned for the main line of design at whole serial and overall optimization. The important task of the serial courses is to train the abilities of student's synthetical design and their bringing forth new ideas. This paper introduces the general tech ing reformation situations after 1950's. gives up the thinking of teaching reformation and creates the new system- "Modern EngineeringDesign Graphics".
