(1) System beginning work with active state (ranging state). The outputs of MMW high-stability oscillator, which go by the modulator, pour into the millimeter wave power amplifier. The outputs pass by the isolator and circulator, then launch to the outside by the antenna. The electromagnetic reflect back by the ground. (2) Reflex echo signal overpass the antenna, circulator, isolator and put into the mixer. In the receiver mixer, echo signal and high-stable original signal are mixed to produce the difference frequency signal, which contain the distance information between the radar and the ground.
