In order to take full advantage of the power generation capability of distributed generation (DG) to improve grid power supply reliability under fault conditions, this paper proposes an island partitioning strategy for active distribution networks. Firstly, considering the load importance, DG running characteristics and island standby, Using the priority search algorithm to search the network, aiming at maximizing the recovery of the important load power supply capability, and obtaining the initial island range. In addition, A controllable load model is established, and uses the improved bat algorithm to find the optimal value of the controllable load, further expand the island range, and increase the ability to supply power to important loads outside the island. Finally, the method proposed in this paper is verified by IEEE33 system with DG, as a result, the proposed method can effectively utilize the controllable load to expand the island range, and effectively control the operation cost of the island.
