We discuss the outcomes of an introductory module to networked information and communication literacy skills (NICLS) designed from a constructivist approach in order to prepare postgraduate students for networked learning. The module run with different cohorts of students each comprising different cultures, produced very diverse responses from students depending on their previous learning experiences, cultural expectations and cultural contexts.
