Asian Development Bank's perspective on Asian electricity reforms

Power sector growth occupies an important position in a country's economic development. The Asian Development Bank (the Bank) has contributed to the development of the power sector in practically all its developing members countries (DMCs). This paper presents the Bank's perspective on electricity sector reforms in Asia.
