摘要

In this paper, the process of cross wedge rolling (CWR) has been simulated and analyzed by 3-Drnrigid-plastic finite element method. Considering the characteristic of CWR, the static implicit FEM programrnDEFORM-3D is selected. For simulating all forming stages in CWR process, the dynamic adaptive remeshingrntechnology for tetrahedral solid elements is applied. The stress distributions in cross section of forming workpiecernare analyzed to interpret fracture or rarefaction in the center of workpiece. Authors also analyzed the time-torquerncurve and the laws of load changing.
