摘要

Preventing concrete cracks during underground construction is important for its expected serviceability. However, there is still shortage of fundamental research on early age properties of concrete, such as shrinkage at the influence of environment, effects of reinforcement and restraint from pre-cast members. For a practical project, construction procedure is significant in mitigation risk of cracking. This paper summarizes parts of the work done by HPC-Lab on measuring early properties of concrete, developing analytical tool for construction simulation, and carrying out measures in the light of analysis. Even though some progress had been made there are still more works should be taken into action in understanding the mechanism of early age behaviour when concrete casting-in-place.
