This questionnaire has been structured to gather together information from the different member countries on their usage of probabilistic safety analysis (PSA) within a regulatory environment. In this regard, it is important to describe the reasoning behind performing PSAs, the current national programme, real case examples of the application of PSAs, and the direction and trends for future use of PSA, recognizing the difficulties that such a direction may pose.
