Parameter Estimation for the Process Oriented Simulation (POS) Model for Common Cause Failures

摘要

A process-oriented simulation model for common cause failures has been suggested. First applications of the POS-model have been made already earlier. As a further step to facilitate the model application to practical problems, a systematic approach to parameter estimation has been developed. The estimation procedure is tested against simulated common cause failure data generated with the same model.
