SIMULATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF MANPOWER ASSIGNMENT IN BEER PRODUCTION PROCESS

摘要

Manpower assignment is one of the typical problems in many product systems. In this paper, we develop a simulation model to capture a practical system of a beer production workshop. The model is optimized under given constraints of established objective function. The optimization results provide basis for determining appropriate number of workers to meet the demand of beer production. The system is simulated with Witness 2003 and its Optimizer.
