Polymer formulated antigen was found to elicit increased cell proliferation of splenocytes from pre-immunised mice in comparison to free antigen. In addition, production of IFN-λ and IL-6 was increased for formulated as compared to free antigen in both na'ive and pre-immunised animals. Production of IFN-λ or IL-6 was not observed when naive spleen cells were stimulated with polymer alone.
