Corrosion-related defects in pure Al and AA2037 Al-Cu alloys were measured with positronbeam-based doppler broadening spectroscopy,in combination with SEM,EDS and AFM.Defect profiles in depth in the alloys were analyzed by measuring the S parameter as a function of incident positron energy up to 30 keV.
