A Preview of FAA-iCMM v2.0 Process Areas and Mapping Tables

This paper provides an overview of work in process in developing an organizational improvement model that integrates beyond capability maturity models. The Federal Aviation Administration integrated Capability Maturity Model (FAA-iCMM) version 1.0 is now being expanded to incorporate and integrated several additional models and standards beyond the systems engineering, acquisition, and software disciplines of its original source models. The process coverage of the proposed new model is summarized here, along with a mapping table that illustrates at a high level how 8 models and standards have been aligned to come up with FAA-iCMM v2.0.
