摘要

The main purpose of this study was evaluate physicochem-ical properties of surface modified Ti-6A1-4V ELI and Ti-6Al-7Nb used for implants in orthopedics. Electrochemical properties of surface were assessed by means of potentiodynamic and impedance methods. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is a test that is in common used for corrosion and electrochemical tests. The test were carried out in artificial saliva solution at the temperature of T = 37 ℃ and pH = 7,0±0,2. Measurements were made by means of AutoLab PGSTAT 302N measurement system equipped with a module FRA2 (Frequency Response Analyses).The results analysis showed that the beneficial effects of the proposed surface treatment of titanium alloys used for implants in bone surgery.
