Historical specification, design, manufacture and operation of transformers,rn2. The types of materials currently used in the construction of transformers and theirrnlimitations,rn3. The alternative types of materials that could be used in the construction of transformersrnand the benefits they offer, and;rn4. The current and alternative methods of selecting transformers, their rating andrnoperation.
