摘要

The Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) attracts attention as a new coal utilization technology that achieves high environmental performance and higher plant efficiency. As a following step of Nakoso 200t/day pilot plant, which ended successfully in 1996, research and development of the demonstration plant has been forwarded. Various gasification tests were carried out by using the 24ton/day gasifier at MHI Nagasaki R&D Center for several types of coal. Consequently stable gasification operation was confirmed, and also it was checked that a gasification performance could be predicted with sufficient accuracy. These results will be reflected in the demonstration plant to improve on the further performance, reliability and safety.
