The CAMOC now has an integrated radar and EO/IR command and control capability across a network for their operations. This effort can be expanded to add more radar and EO/IR systems around Puerto Rico without additional display subsystems. All command, control, and display can be presented on the two existing display systems. The next level of data fusion being planned is passing existing track data and still imagery. Still imagery includes date, time, and track ID number associated to a secure server. All track and still imagery data will be placed on a secure server to be displayed at an Operations Center in Rhode Island under Project Athena. At this time, Project Athena will only have a monitoring capability of the data from Puerto Rico with the CAMOC maintaining full operational control of assets. Project Athena is designed to demonstrate the integration of a diverse suite of sensors, maritime and air radars, and EO in an integrated, fused Maritime Domain Awareness system.
