Fuzzy Logic and Green Design: A New Approach

摘要

The concept of an augmented fuzzy set was recently developed by the authors to allow representation of the degree of certainty of imprecise and uncertain information, as well as the information itself. In this work a new methodology based on augmented fuzzy sets is developed for use in green design. The methodology is illustrated by its application to design choices in PVC manufacturing.
