摘要

In this study, the gel beads contained ionic liquid were applied to electromotive force (EMF) hydrogen sensor which has a high hydrogen gas detecting ability. Ionic gel beads were prepared by suspension polymerization and their diameters were 100-2000 μm. The sensor utilizing ionic liquid gel has flexibility and heat endurance. The weight and shape of gel beads were maintained not only in high temperature condition but also under vacuuming condition. The hydrogen micro sensor was able to detect 2 % hydrogen concentration. It has high grade gas selectivity and can detect hydrogen gas in the range of explosion limit. It is considered that the sensor can be used as superior hydrogen sensor.
