VARIABLE CAMBER TANDEM CASCADES FOR AXIAL FLOW FANS AND COMPRESSORS

摘要

Authors' earlier experimental foray with a newly configured tandem cascade with 48° overall camber has shown its high flow deflection capabilities over a reasonable range of angle of attack. In the present investigation, the above tandem cascade has been tested to assess its performance potential under variable camber operation. Low speed performance studies indicate the possible operation of the cascade over a wide range of camber variation.
