An integrated analysis code with CFD/Rotor dynamics coupling has been developed in JAXA. The rotor dynamics include the trim adjustment and blade elastic deformations and also the blade rigid motions. Information exchanges between CFD and rotor dynamics are carried out in a loose coupling approach. A simple aerodynamic model based on blade element theory is used to estimate the required trim adjustments. Sample results include the auto-trim adjustment in a rotor hovering in ground effect Also the HART II baseline case was used to validate the trim adjustment together with elastic vibrations.
