A WEB SERVICE BASED BRAIN TUMOR IMAGE EXCHANGE SYSTEM

摘要

The goal of this research is using Web Services technology to implement a Brain Tumor Image Exchange System that can have appropriate networking capability to integrate individual medical image systems and their services seamlessly. Four subsystems have been implemented in the proposed Brain Tumor Medical Image Exchange System as following, Multimedia Database Access System, Image Exchange Management System, Services Discovery System and Brain Tumor Diagnosis System. It is strongly believed that the results of this research have greatly helped physicians to make significant progress on brain tumor research.
