A GPS image search method, a geographical position service based GPS image search method, a blog service based GPS image search method, and a local blog service providing method are provided to enable a user to check real appearance of objects or topography on a map or appearance of surrounding environment with the map concurrently by strengthening a conventional flat map search service. A GPS image search method comprises the following several steps. A user terminal displays a search window on a screen of an internet web page and enables a user to input a search word via the search window(210). A server searches for photographs including GPS information on a web(220). The server extracts the GPS information from the photographs and generates metadata where coordinate information and address information on a map are matched with the photographs by using the extracted GPS information(230). The server extracts the photographs having the address information matched with the search word by using the metadata(240). The user terminal displays the extracted photographs(250).
