摘要

The quaternary composite phase change materials (PCMs) consists of lauric acid (LA), decanoic acid (DA),rntetradecyl alcohol (TA) and dodecane (DD). The mass ratio of the composite ingredients is 27.1:28.5:29.6:rn14.8 respectively. The composite was prepared by ultrasonic oscillations. The properties of the compositernPCMs were characterized by cooling process, DSC (differential scanning calorimety), thermal cycling testrnand so on. The results show that the phase change temperature and latent heat of the composite arern5.13℃and 154.1J/g at 5 ℃ min~(−1) under a constant and steady stream of nitrogen atmosphere at a flow rate ofrn10 ml min~(−1) , respectively. Hereby, the composite shows large potential in thermal energy storage, especiallyrnin air-conditioning systems, because of high latent heat, suitable phase change temperature, good thermalrnstability and low cost.
