Russian System For Differential CorrectionAnd Monitoring: A Concept, Present Status,And Prospects For Future

The paper describes present day status of the RussianrnSystem for Differential Correction and Monitoringrn(SDCM). This system is being developed under thernleading role of the Russian Institute of Space DevicernEngineering (RISDE), which is in Moscow. The workrnhas begun in accordance with the contract with thernFederal Space Agency of Russia. This contract wasrnsigned within the frames of the Federal MissionrnOriented Program named “GLONASS”.rnThe described system is being under construction sincern2002, and in 2006 the part of it dedicated to integrityrnmonitoring was put into operation.rnThe paper describes present day SDCM compositionrnand functions, and gives brief review of somernmonitoring results accumulated during 2007. The paper will also give some information on basic steps on thernway to SDCM implementation.
