Integration of PDM and Production Planning based on Service Oriented Architecture

摘要

To achieve the integration of PDM and production planning, a approach to integrate the both systems is provided, which is based on service oriented architecture. In accordance with service architecture, the PDM's functions is encapsulated by a new interface which is developed based on it's original interface. In this way, the PDM can be invoked as a service for production planning , the information between both systems can be shared with each other and realize the integration of heterogeneous system. It meets the anufacturing enterprise's requirement on integrating application system.
