摘要

The aseismic capacity of structures is the first line in the earthquake defense system of the society. Severe damages and collapses of buildings were caused by the Wenchuan Earthquake. Performance of retrofitted buildings in this earthquake highlights the efficiency and necessity for earthquake resistance. This paper focuses on the seismic strengthening techniques of the structures based on the integrity theory. First, a new approach is proposed to seismic strengthening of the structure and post-disaster processing. Furthermore, the corresponding procedure based on the integrity theory is presented. Finally, a project example is given, and some advices for reference in seismic strengthening techniques of the structures are put forward.
