The forming section of the Papermachine significantly influences many final paper properties. This tutorialrnwill address four main topics in paper forming: single wire forming, twin wire forming, wet end chemicalrnadditives, and forming fabric design and selection. Emphasis will be placed on understanding underlyingrnprinciples, and applying them to commercially significant situations.
