Plastic deformation was given to an Al-Cu-Fe alloy containing quasicrystals at a room temperature. Specimen thickness as well as strain rate was altered to seek deformable condition for quasicrystals. Although quasicrystals embedded in Al_2Cu did not deform by usual compression test in a bulk, they deformed plastically at a high stress level attained in a thin foil specimen of the order of the quasicrystal size. A large number of line contrasts, presumably planar defects across a foil specimen were introduced by a compressive stress applied on the foil. Heavy plastic deformation was also confirmed after high speed rolling. Burgers vectors of the glide dislocations were determined by visibility criterion and type of the dislocations is compared with those reported in literatures.
