摘要

Total electron content (TEC) of the ionosphere is one of the parameters of solar terrestrial environment necessary for man-made satellite working system such as the range and speed measuring, radio-location, telemetry and telecontrol, remote sensing, navigation, telecommunication, television relay, satellite meteorological map, etc. The spatial structure, temporal variation and their auto-and cross-correlations of the ionospheric TEC are important influential factors in radio star-earth system. This kind of essential radio propagation factors has been paid great attention by the practical departments and scientific research centres during the past 40years since 1957.
