EVOLUTION OF THE IN GLOBAL FUNCTIONAL PLANE

摘要

In this paper four problems regarding service engineering within Intelligent Networks are described.The first Problem addresses the incapability of the service modelling to provide different granularity levels ot budlding blocks by (de)-composing these building blocks out of other building blocks.The second problem describes the issue that certain build.ing blocks might block the execution of a service scnpt.This problem is caused by the sequential execution of service scripts.Thirdly,inter(net)working services can not be modelled efficiently.The Intelligent Network (IN) is regarded as a single network.Therefore,no distinction can be made between different stakeholders,such as different network operators.The last Droblem addresses the fact that non call-related services can not be modelled by the current service engineenng concepts within IN.
